Status Awesome

I first came across Status Anxiety in David Jones. This Australian brand is actually the best one I have come across so far: their vibe is "despite the quality materials and workmanship, you won't have to trade in your car (or nanna) to get yourself into one".

My personal faves are the Destructive Romance bag and the Law of the Wild bag, both of which are pictured here.  All of their leather is sourced from either Italy, France or New Zealand. 

The prices for these though is what makes it for me: less than $100 for a super cute evening bag that is made extremely well with great quality materials.

Accessoria

 

Just a few new accessory pieces I have picked up over the last week.

Shopbop is actually such an amazing website - I picked up the Marc by Marc Jacobs Q by Natasha bag from them and they were so super speedy with delivery! And I am so in love with the bag, been yearning for a new one for ages. 

I can also never go past Karen Walker. Inside the book is blank paged and not lined, simply waiting for all my professional stickman drawings of life.

I am obsessed with this Sass and Bide scarf. They have this harlequin print all over a lot of their new pieces in store this week which are so prettay that I may have purchased a few others... My S&B self control doesn't exist.

Plus who doesn't love flowers right? Super obvious plan to make it all look a bit prettier, but I think it works.

Camilla Autumn/Winter 2014

Some snaps from Camilla's Melbourne show for their Fall Collection.  I am super vibing on the flowy silks with the dramatic and eclectic patterns.  A whole bunch of inspiration and artistry was thrown together to make a seriously eye catching collection.  Winner winner! x

Morning Musts

My morning bevies and toast toppings... Can't go past some sneaky avo on toast - especially with some lemon juice on top.  Down in Melbourne the other week I went to this great restaurant/bar on the river that had an avocado smash breakfast dish of awesomeness that had just the slightest bit of smoked paprika sprinkled on top.  The bomb dignity, I tell you. x

Summer Nostalgia

Feeling the cold winter chill slowly rolling into our mornings is taking my mind to some the warmest places of Australia. Most of these pics were taken sailing up at Hamilton Island during Race Week, where the spinnakers were as colourful as the cocktails were, and dang they were some pretty noice cocktails. x

Never Ending Hunger

Getting some inspiration for healthy salads and desserts - generally a big excuse to look at some food porn.  So hungry! x
